The Role
As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment through preventative and breakdown maintenance.
Key responsibilities include:
Electrical fault finding and breakdown response
Preventative and scheduled maintenance
PLC fault finding and basic troubleshooting (desirable)
Installation and commissioning of new machinery
Continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime
Maintaining food safety, quality and workplace safety standards
Working closely with production and engineering teams
About You To be successful, you will have:
Current A-Grade Electrical Licence
Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial or food production environments
Strong electrical fault-finding skills
Experience with motors, conveyors, VSDs, sensors and control systems
Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
A proactive, reliable and safety-focused approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work a rotating shift roster
Shift Pattern
This position operates on a rotating roster covering:
Day Shift
Afternoon Shift
Night Shift
Regular weekend overtime is available and paid at applicable penalty rates.
