Responsibilities
Deliver and coordinate units within the offered or proposed courses of the department, ensuring constructive alignment of unit learning outcomes, assessment.
Contribute to course quality assurance, moderation, benchmarking, and continuous improvement in line with the relevant standards
Maintain an active scholarship profile informed by contemporary developments in the relevant field of practice and research
Participate in academic governance committees and student academic support
Qualifications (Essential)
A PhD in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field is preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary developments in the discipline, evidenced by continuing scholarship, research, or advances in professional practice
Skills in contemporary teaching, learning and assessment principles for higher education, including blended delivery and diverse student cohorts
Understanding of academic integrity requirements, including risks associated with generative AI




Experience in curriculum development, external benchmarking, or qualified accreditation processes
Industry experience in civil or construction engineering projects
