About the Role
This is a hands‐on leadership role owning the Fixed Assets accounting function end‐to‐end.
You'll lead a high‐performing offshore team, partner directly with Business Unit Finance and Project leaders across the group, and have real influence over how a major Australian business manages its asset base.

Key Responsibilities
Lead capitalisation, depreciation, disposals, lease accounting (IFRS 16) and reconciliations
Own the fixed assets month‐end/year‐end close




Maintain balance sheet integrity through reconciliation reviews and control testing
Coordinate with external audit
Lead and develop an offshore team
Own fixed asset accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with impairment and IFRS requirements group‐wide
Drive standardisation, automation and system improvements
Be the go‐to for fixed asset matters across BU Finance and Project teams
Key Skills
CA or equivalent, with 5+ years in financial control
Deep technical knowledge across fixed assets & lease accounting
Experience leading or partnering with offshore teams
Exposure to major ERP and reporting platforms
A hands‐on, detail‐focused operator who drives change
