About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused
Weighbridge Operator
to join our team and play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our site. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately weighing and recording all incoming and outgoing vehicle movements, operating the weighbridge system, and coordinating with drivers, customers, and site personnel to keep operations running smoothly.
This role is running 3-4 days a week from 9am - 3pm.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the confidence to work autonomously in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately weigh and record all incoming and outgoing vehicle movements
Operate the weighbridge system and maintain accurate, compliant records
Correctly charge tickets and apply pricing with a high level of accuracy
Coordinate with drivers, operations,



and site staff on day-to-day activities
Manage general office and admin duties, including phones and emails
Communicate confidently and clearly via UHF radio
Maintain a high standard of safety, including correct PPE use and completing site inductions as required
Deliver excellent customer service while problem-solving and multitasking in a busy environment
What We're Looking For
Strong computer and admin skills
Confidence to work autonomously
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Sound knowledge of the waste industry (preferred, not essential)
High standard of safety awareness (PPE, inductions)
Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
Ability to multitask and stay organised in a fast-paced setting
