Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Banking & Finance Associate (3–5 PQE) to join its highly regarded Sydney practice.
The team is recognised for its strength across a broad range of financing matters, including acquisition finance, leveraged finance, general banking, infrastructure/project finance, restructuring and refinancing transactions, and other complex domestic and cross-border financing arrangements.
With a strong international platform and deep relationships across the financial markets, the practice regularly advises lenders, sponsors, corporates and investors on significant and sophisticated transactions.As part of a team-oriented and high-performing team, you will work closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers on complex transactions involving Australian and international clients,



while continuing to develop your technical and commercial skills.About you:3-5 years' post-qualification experience in banking and financeExperience gained at a reputable national or international law firmExposure to general banking, acquisition finance, infrastructure/project finance, leveraged finance, restructuring, refinancing or broader financing transactionsStrong drafting, analytical and transaction management skillsExcellent academic credentialsCommercially minded with strong attention to detailA collaborative approach and desire to work in a fast-paced, high-performing environmentThis opportunity will suit a driven finance lawyer looking to accelerate their career within a market-leading international practice and gain exposure to complex, high-value transactions across a broad range of financing products.
