The position is based in Murray Bridge and offers an indicative salary of
$75,000-$90,000 plus superannuation
depending on experience and the position in which the successful candidate is employed.
Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cook / Chef to join
The Foggy Lantern
team in a full-time capacity. The successful applicant will:
Prepare and cook menu items to a consistently high standard.
Assist with menu planning and seasonal menu updates.
Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation.
Manage stock levels, ordering, and kitchen supplies.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
Oversee daily kitchen operations and prep work.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.




Support and train junior kitchen staff where required.
Help with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.
Contribute to a positive, team-focused kitchen culture.
Requirements
Applicants must hold an appropriate qualification or have a minimum of two years' relevant experience. A strong understanding of kitchen practices, food safety, and the ability to work well in a busy team environment is essential.
