Reporting to the Production Supervisor or Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of our fresh produce.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneralOperate forklifts and machinery in a safe, efficient and competent mannerComplete forklift pre-start checklist, logbook and key register before operationLoad and unload cold rooms, containers and packing areas with forkliftSupport your Manager to build a cohesive team that reflects Mulgowie Farming Company's valuesReport any maintenance requirements in your area to the appropriate personComply with all policies and procedures regarding forklift operationsEnsure work area and equipment is safe and safe work practices are followed at all timesPeopleWork as part of the Packhouse TeamCarry out Safety checks as required in line with policies, procedures and processesProvide encouragement and a positive influence for all peersComply with all legislative, environmental, and safety acts as applicable to the state we work inUnderstand the operations being carried out and the hazards and risks associated with operationsQualifications and Experience Required:QualificationsCurrent Australian Forklift Licence (essential)ExperienceExperience in forklift operations in the workplaceSkills and AbilitiesAbility to maintain flexible work hoursExcellent communications skillsAbility to communicate appropriately across culturesAbility to set a good work ethic for team membersConduct and present yourself in an orderly and responsible mannerOur ValuesWe value the safety of our people and productsThe consumer is considered in all of our decision makingWe respect all people and are united through team spiritWe value transparent communication, and welcome all ideas for improvementYou must have your own transport and Australian working rights to apply.There is no accommodation available at this facility.
