We are currently seeking an experienced Broadcast / AV Engineer to join the team full‐time our Sydney-based team in Hornsby (northern part of Sydney).
About the Role
This is a hands‐on technical role focused on the design, setup, configuration, commissioning, and support of professional broadcast and AV systems.
You will work across a range of projects, from broadcast and live production environments through to fixed AV installations.
Key Responsibilities
Installation, configuration, and commissioning of broadcast and AV systems
Setup and operation of audio, video, and control systems
Technical service & support, fault finding, customer support and troubleshooting
Assisting with system design, documentation, and testing
On‐site and remote support for customers as required
Working closely with project managers, sales engineers, and clients
Ensuring systems are delivered to specification, on time, and to a high standard
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a broadcast and/or professional AV engineering role
Strong practical knowledge of audio and visual signal paths and system integration




Competence in the setup, configuration, and operation of professional AV and broadcast equipment
A solid understanding of control systems (e.g. LAWO VSM, Densitron IDS, Ross Dashboard or similar platforms)
It is ESSENTIAL that you have experience with IP-based workflows and networking fundamentals
Strong troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills
Good communication skills and a professional approach when working with clients
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
The ability to do national and international travel as required
