Operational Compliance Manager, Fund Operations

About the role
This role sits at the intersection of operations, risk and regulation. You'll be accountable for embedding operational compliance into day-to-day Fund Registry activities — translating regulatory and policy requirements into practical, scalable controls that support high-quality client outcomes.This is a hands‐on, influential role suited to someone who balances regulatory rigour with operational pragmatism and enjoys partnering closely with operational leaders to uplift compliance capability.
Key Responsibilities
Own and maintain the Fund Registry operational compliance framework, including obligations mapping and assurance activities
Embed regulatory and internal policy requirements into BAU workflows, procedures, and service standards
Partner with Risk & Compliance on regulatory change and ongoing compliance monitoring
Design, implement, and oversee operational controls, monitoring, and testing programs
Lead end-to-end management of compliance incidents and breaches, including investigations, root‐cause analysis, and remediation
Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and client due diligence activities
Act as a trusted operational compliance advisor to Fund Registry leaders and teams
Skills and Experience
Experience in operational compliance within financial services, funds, registry, or investor administration
Strong understanding of risk‐based compliance and embedding controls into operational processes
Proven experience managing incidents, breaches, and remediation activities
Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders across operations, risk, legal, and technology
Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical and scalable solutions
High attention to detail with sound judgement in assessing risk and materiality
Experience supporting audits, reviews, or regulatory interactions
Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Law, Risk, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
