CPM Engineering is a well-established engineering and fabrication business based in Gympie, now part of The Davey Group, a diversified Queensland manufacturing, fabrication, and construction group. As we grow our operations, we are looking for trade-qualified Boilermakers and Sheet Metal Workers to join our workshop team.
The Role
As a Boilermaker or Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for:
Reading and working from technical drawings and specifications
Fabricating and welding steel components to a high standard
Working across structural steel, plate work, and/or sheet metal fabrication
Maintaining quality and accuracy in line with specification
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or Sheet Metal Worker
Proven experience in a fabrication or workshop environment




Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
A current driver's licence
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
