What You'll Be Doing
Preparing detailed structural and civil drawings using AutoCAD, including plans, elevations, sections, and construction details for residential, commercial, industrial, and non-habitable structure projects.
Preparing architectural drawings and plans for submission to WA local councils as part of building approval applications.
Producing fabrication drawings for structural steelwork, including steel framing and connection details.
Assisting with the development of design concepts and incorporating client feedback into revised documentation.
Collaborating with the design team to ensure all drawings adhere to relevant building codes, Australian Standards, and the National Construction Code.
Providing technical support and advice to engineers and other team members throughout the design and documentation process.
Maintaining accurate records and project documentation across all project phases.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of our design and drafting processes.
What We're Looking For
Advanced Diploma or Diploma of Civil Construction Design, or relevant tertiary qualification in architectural drafting, engineering, or a related field.




Minimum 2 years' experience in a structural, civil, or architectural drafting role (architectural drafting experience preferred).
Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory); experience with Revit or SketchUp is advantageous.
Experience preparing drawings for council approval submissions is highly regarded.
Understanding of building codes, regulations, and design standards.
Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
