Key tasks, duties and responsibilities:Assist in sale day activities including:Pre-sale scanning of livestock;Receival of, loading and unloading of livestockDrafting and penning of livestockPost-sale weighing and delivery;Counting and reconcile animals sold and delivered;General livestock handling.Undertake feeding of livestock;Other duties as directed by the Business Manager RLX is committed to providing a protected and healthy workplace for all staff, clients, and visitors to our facilities.

Job requirements:Demonstrated experience in livestock handling and sale yard processes;Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of animal welfare and safe work practicesin a sale yard environment;Demonstrated skills in horsemanship and the ability to work livestock on horseback;Capable of operating feed mixer tractors bobcat loadersAbility to undertake manual activities and meet the physical demands of a sale yard working environment;Ability to take direction, follow policies and procedures and work well in a team as well as unsupervised;Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders including staff, customers, agents and contractors; andAbility to co-ordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.Benefits:Access to Employee Assistance Program10c discount on Fuel (Diesel) at all IOR locations30% discount from Ringers WesternCorporate rate with JB HI-FICompany Paid maternity leave )
