Zoom Recruitment is seeking an experienced
Despatch Coordinator
to join a busy steel manufacturing operation based in Sunshine. This is an excellent opportunity for a transport, logistics, or manufacturing professional looking for an immediate start.
The Role
Working within a fast-paced manufacturing workplace, you will be responsible for coordinating daily despatch operations, ensuring deliveries run smoothly and customers receive excellent service.
Pay Rate:
$40-$45 per hour
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm (
occasional Saturdays may be required
)
Duration:
Minimum 2-3 months, with potential for extension
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate communication between customers and drivers regarding deliveries
Manage delivery dates and loads using system tools (JDE and NetworX)
Record delivery times and distances in JDE




Prepare delivery paperwork and scan PODs into the system
Support other Despatch Coordinators with daily operations
About You:
Previous despatch experience required
Experience working in a fast-paced environment managing competing priorities and demanding customers
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent problem-solving ability with a results-focused mindset
Resilient and able to manage pressure effectively
Knowledge of load restraint guidelines preferred
Construction industry experience highly regarded
Requirements:
Must be available for an immediate start
Must successfully pass a drug and alcohol test
Must successfully complete a fitness assessment
