Are you an experienced underground construction operator, or looking to further develop your expertise, looking for stable, long-term work with a great roster and all the trimmings taken care of? This is your chance to join a well-established Fill & Services team on a major underground mining operation in regional Queensland.

The Role
You'll play a critical role in supporting underground operations — from bulkhead construction and ventilation installation to paste reticulation, stop logs, and concrete works. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who takes pride in getting the job done safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Day to day you'll be:




Installing concrete slabs, pads and other civil works
Carrying out handheld drilling and service pin installation
Installing temporary and permanent stop logs and all types of bulkheads
Installing ventilation fans and maintaining paste reticulation systems
Conducting pre-start checks and reporting on tools and equipment
Working closely with your supervisor and the broader Fill & Services team
Keeping safety front and centre in everything you do
What You'll Need
Light Vehicle tickets and a current Australian Driver's Licence (must have)
Current First Aid, CPR and Fire training (must have)
Desirable:
Working at heights certification
Desirable:
Trade certification (plumbing, carpentry, boilermaking, building, concreting)
You'll also need to be a strong communicator, a valuable problem-solver, and someone who's comfortable making sound decisions within your own authority when working unsupervised.
Before You Start
