Avionics Airfield Lighting Pty Ltd is a leading Australian contractor specialising in Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL), airport electrical systems and civil infrastructure. We are currently recruiting for an exciting project at
Avalon Airport
, with works scheduled to commence in
early to mid-August
.
We are seeking experienced and motivated:
Labourers
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a significant airport infrastructure project with a highly respected specialist contractor.
About the Role
Working within a collaborative project team, you will assist in delivering critical airport infrastructure works while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and workmanship.
Responsibilities may include:
Civil construction works
Trenching and underground services
Installation of conduits, pits and cabling
Electrical installation works
Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) installation
Plant operation (where applicable)
Following all site safety procedures and project requirements
What We're Looking For
Construction White Card
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Robust commitment to safety
Reliable, hardworking and team-focused attitude
Ability to work day and night shifts
Highly Regarded
Applicants living locally to
Avalon, Geelong, Werribee, Lara or surrounding areas




Previous airport construction or aviation industry experience
Current CPR / First Aid
Australian Electrical Licence (Electrician applicants)
Relevant plant operating licences and experience (Plant Operators)
Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) experience
Security Requirements
As the works will be carried out within a secure airport environment, successful applicants will be required to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC). Applicants must be able to pass the required background and criminal history checks including pre-employment medical test as part of the ASIC application process.
