Stone & Slate Discounts is the market leading supplier of natural stone pavers and tiles in Australia.
You will be working as part of our 8 person female sales team and have an chance to integrate with our marketing team as well. Initally your time will be spent 70% in Sales and 30% in assisting our Marketing Team in blogging and social media.
The salary is based on 41-hour work week. You will need to work 9am-4pm on Saturdays and Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.00pm. However, you will be allocated a day off in lieu during the week
Your role will include:
Communicating and engaging with customers on the phone, in person and via social media
Support the marketing team with occasional ad hoc work such as blogging with the help of AI. Present our products on camera in our social media video productions




Following up on customers' orders and sample requests
Taking a proactive approach and come up with suggestions on how we can improve our sales process and communication with our customers
If you show interest we will train you up in SEO, GEO and Digital Marketing strategies in depth
You will be highly considered if you are:
Friendly, comfortable talking and building rapport with people
Team-Focused & Driven: Self-motivated, proactive, and ready to learn.
Experienced in retail sales or any type of sales job
Previously worked as a waitress or waiter in cafe enviroment 1-5 years
