About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial accounts, income tax returns and related compliance work for a variety of clients, including individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and self-managed superannuation funds.
The role will involve regular communication with clients, partners and team members, and will require strong technical knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to manage workflow efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
Preparation of BAS, IAS and other compliance documents
Assisting with tax planning and client advisory matters
Liaising with clients,



ATO and other external parties
Reviewing client records and identifying issues requiring further attention
Managing allocated jobs and meeting deadlines
Working collaboratively with partners, managers and other team members
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring high-quality work standards
Skills and Experience Required
CPA or CA qualification
Minimum 5 years' accounting experience
Experience in an Australian accounting practice preferred
Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage competing deadlines and work independently
Professional approach when dealing with clients and colleagues
Good computer skills and ability to use accounting and practice management software
