About the role The role of Quality Compliance and Improvement Officer is to enhance operational standards across all of Council's Education and Care Services. This position supports the delivery of quality childhood education by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and National Law. Reporting to the Section Manager Education and Care, this role will see you develop systems to help services achieve high standards of care, mentor educational staff, and drive excellence through collaboration with internal stakeholders. Our ideal candidate will be someone who can champion success across the business, be a mentor, drive excellence and shape the future of early childhood education Council's Education and Care Services. This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, Compliance or related field
a current Working with Children Check
a current Identify and Respond to Young People at Risk qualification
a current Class C Drivers Licence
a current First Aid Certificate
a National Criminal History Record Check and other checks as required
experience in early childhood centre leadership,
or compliance or quality assurance within the early childhood education sector
comprehensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and other relevant legislation
proven experience in conducting audits, developing compliance strategies, and liaising with regulatory bodies
the ability to effectively manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and coordinate compliance activities across multiple centres.
Offer Details The commencing salary for this position is up to $100k per year. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $*****k on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation. We have a temporary part time role available. This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building.
