Reporting directly to the Care Manager, you will be providing a high standard of nursing clinical care with an individual, person centred approach to all residents within our residential aged care home.
Rostered Shifts
Week 1:
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday |
6:45am - 3:00pm
(Morning Shift)
Week 2:
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday |
6:45am - 3:00pm
(Morning Shift)
Please Note:
The above shifts are the current rostered pattern; however, as this is a supernumerary position, these shifts may be subject to change based on the operational needs of the home and coverage requirements for planned and unplanned leave. To achieve full-time hours, additional shifts will be rostered as required. The successful applicant must be adaptable and available to work morning, afternoon and night shifts, with both the rostered pattern and additional shifts varying according to the needs of the service. Flexibility across all shift types is an essential requirement of this role.
About the Role
Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures




Acting as Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team
Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures
To be successful in this role you'll need
A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age - related health issues
Strong coaching/training skills
Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
