A new position has become available for an Aged Care Speech Pathologist to provide a visiting service throughout the Northern suburbs of Melbourne

Dr Jill Lesic & Associates is one of Victoria's leading Aged care, Community and private acute hospital private Speech Pathology providers.
Whilst a full time position is advertised, a part time position can be offered instead to suit yourrequirements.
Location: Head office is in Surrey Hills but the position is mobile throughout NORTHERN suburbs of Melbourne
Commencement date: from August **** onwards
Qualifications & Experience
Experience with adult acute hospital or aged care is desirable, but
New Graduates are welcome to apply.
We have a training and mentoring program designed to assist and support new graduates.
The ability to work independently, to manage your time and to build good customer relations is essential.
Must have current drivers licence, own car, current Police Check, own mobile phone and be fully vaccinated.
Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (Certified Practising Speech Pathologist)

Tasks & responsibilities
The position involves
providing a visiting service
to aged care facilities and client's homes and with the option to also work in private hospitals throughout Northern suburbs of Melbourne.
This is to be done primarily
through face to face visits
but also via Telehealth where required.
The
case load is mixed and varied, with the primary focus on Dysphagia in aged care
and acute hospital. Case load also includes Adult therapy in clients' homes and aged care facilities, NDIS home visits (adult clients only) and the opportunity to perform videofluoroscopies, in-services and hospital visits (training will be provided).
Our team of more than 20 speech pathologists and five office staff provides a
supportive and friendly environment
in which to work.
Mentoring, regular practice meetings, in-house PD events
and training and a great team approach, combined with a mixed and
interesting case load and flexible schedule
make this a highly desirable position. As mentioned above, we have
training and mentoring programs
designed to assist and support you.
