What you'll do
Design and execute comprehensive people and culture strategies that align with Flyingbark's mission and business objectives.
Lead the recruitment process by developing job descriptions, conducting interviews, and collaborating with hiring managers to attract top talent.
Implement onboarding programs that ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company culture and equipped for success from day one.
Develop and manage employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, feedback sessions, and team-building activities to enhance workplace morale.
Oversee performance management processes, providing guidance to managers on conducting evaluations and setting development goals for employees.
Facilitate training and development programs that support employee growth and career advancement, ensuring that staff have access to the resources they need.
Advise on employee relations matters, addressing any concerns or conflicts that arise and promoting a harmonious workplace environment.




Monitor compliance with labor laws and regulations, ensuring that Flyingbark maintains best practices in HR policies and procedures.
Collaborate with leadership to develop diversity and inclusion initiatives that reflect our commitment to creating a welcoming and equitable workplace.
Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, using data to inform decision-making and strategy development.
Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management, providing support and guidance on HR-related issues and fostering open communication.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in people and culture management, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources or people and culture management, preferably in a creative or technology-driven environment.
Proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive employee engagement and organizational success.
Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations relevant to Australia, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
Experience in talent acquisition and onboarding processes,



with a focus on creating a positive candidate experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations issues with sensitivity and professionalism.
Proficiency in HR software and tools, with a strong aptitude for data analysis and reporting.
A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to navigate complex situations and provide sound advice.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
Experience in the gaming or animation industry, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within this field.
Familiarity with employee wellness programs and initiatives aimed at promoting work-life balance.
Certification in HR management (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) or related qualifications.
Knowledge of performance management systems and employee engagement platforms.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems.
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
