Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Palliative Care Service. This is an opportunity to provide high-quality, person-centred care that supports patients, families, and carers through every stage of their healthcare journey.
About The Opportunity
As a Registered Nurse for the Palliative Care Service you will deliver specialist palliative nursing care that focuses on dignity, comfort, choice, and improving quality of life.
Role
This position works collaboratively with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals to assess needs, develop care plans, implement evidence-based interventions, and evaluate outcomes that truly matter. In this role you will:
Deliver compassionate, specialist palliative nursing care that supports patient comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based nursing interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
Collaborate with patients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve holistic care outcomes.
Contribute to quality improvement, professional development, and a culture of excellence within CCLHD.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, with the required authority to practise.
Demonstrated clinical experience in Palliative Care and a commitment to delivering evidence-based, person-centred care.
Strong communication, interpersonal,



and information technology skills to support effective clinical practice and documentation.
The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while also demonstrating initiative and accountability.
A commitment to continuous improvement, professional development, and CCLHD values of compassionate, respectful, and high-quality care.
