About the role
Mater Private Hospital Brisbane has an opportunity available for an experienced Senior Administration Officer to join our Cardiovascular Unit in a permanent full-time role 38 hours per week. This role will be based at our South Brisbane campus.
Salary range: $***** - $***** per hour
plus superannuation
and
access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900
+

What you'll be doing
This position is for a Senior Administration Officer and your role will involve but not limited to:
Providing Exceptional Customer Service to patient and clients
Processing patient admissions, transfers and discharges and the preparation of clinical forms
Providing administrative support to clinical staff
Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality, complying with administration, and financial policy and procedures, maintaining accurate, current, and accessible files, including maintenance of records and Theatre Coding.
Continually demonstrate highly developed written communication skills
Provide administrative assistance to other senior staff and others as requested
Working closely with our Critical Care Unit, administration and clinical team




Exercise judgement where necessary to solve immediate problems in situations where precedents have not been set and procedures not defined
About you
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Highly experienced in providing medical administration support
Highly developed time management and organisational skills
Strong computer skills including competence in using Patient Administration systems (or the ability to quickly learn new systems)
Knowledge of Health Funds
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to organise and prioritise work effectively within a busy, fast-paced, demanding workplace
