Logistics, Assets & Procurement CoordinatorLocation: Barton, ACT (Onsite)Security Clearance: NV1 Required (NV2 Highly Desirable)Contract Term: Initial 12 Months + Extension Options
Compas is seeking an experienced Logistics, Assets and Procurement Coordinator to support a high-profile Federal Government security program.This is a unique opportunity to join a specialised team responsible for delivering critical logistics, procurement and asset management functions that support national and international operations.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate operational deployments and associated logistics activities.
Manage end-to-end procurement and contract activities.
Maintain asset registers and coordinate stocktakes.
Support financial management, budgeting and reporting activities.
Prepare project, governance and financial documentation.
Manage equipment maintenance schedules and replacement programs.
Coordinate international freight and supply chain activities.
Engage with stakeholders across government and industry.
Review and improve operational processes and procedures.
Identify and mitigate procurement and operational risks.
About You
Experience in logistics, procurement and asset management environments.
Strong understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and contract management.
Experience using SAP or similar enterprise systems.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
A proactive approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Experience supporting complex operational or secure environments.
Commitment to integrity, accountability and high-quality service delivery.
Highly Desirable
Experience within Federal Government, Defence or National Security environments.
Experience managing sensitive equipment or technical assets.
Exposure to international logistics or operational deployments.
Understanding of dangerous goods handling or regulated environments.
Security Requirements
Be Australian Citizens.
Hold a current NV1 Security Clearance as a minimum.
Be willing and eligible to obtain an NV2 Security Clearance.
