Therapy4Life is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Pediatric OT to join our supportive team.
This is a unique opportunity to work across our Mordialloc clinic, Somerville therapy farm and local community settings while developing a caseload that reflects your interests and strengths.About the RoleYou will support children, adolescents and adults.Therapy sessions may address:Sensory processing and regulationEmotional regulation and wellbeingFine and gross motor developmentAttention, confidence and participationSocial engagement and relationshipsFeeding and mealtime participationSelf-care and daily living skillsRoutines and independenceKinder and school readinessCommunity access and functional life skillsOur OTs use child-centred, neuro-affirming, trauma‐aware and strengths‐based approaches.
Sessions are practical, engaging and purposeful, with therapy carefully adapted to each child's developmental stage, interests, goals and support needs.We place a strong emphasis on helping children transfer their skills into everyday life at home, kinder, school and in the community.
Families are supported throughout the therapy process with education, practical strategies and recommendations that can be implemented beyond the therapy session.About Therapy4LifeTherapy4Life provides OT, Therapy Assistant support and equine‐assisted and nature‐based programs for children, adolescents and adults across Melbourne.Our Mordialloc clinic includes vibrant sensory rooms, interactive projection systems and therapy spaces designed to support emotional regulation, motor development and meaningful engagement,
with beautiful beach views from every room.Our private Somerville therapy farm provides a calm and nature‐rich environment with sensory gardens, water play, messy play, a giant swing and a diverse group of therapy animals.
