About the RoleWe're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Specialist to join our team.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time, while also supporting key HR administration and system processes.
You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, maintaining employee data, and supporting HR operations in a fast-paced and evolving environment.ResponsibilitiesProcess end-to-end payroll using ADP/Payforce, ensuring accuracy and timelinessReview and validate employee hours, pay rates, and entitlements (using UKG Realtime system)Process wages, allowances, deductions, taxes, and superannuationMaintain accurate employee payroll records, including current starters, changes, and terminationsRespond to payroll queries from employees and stakeholdersReconcile payroll data and prepare reports for Finance and managementMaintain employee records in Workday,
ensuring data accuracy and integrityPrepare employment contracts and onboarding documentationSupport onboarding and offboarding processesAssist with HR reporting (e.g. headcount, turnover)Support HR projects and initiatives as requiredQualificationsDiploma or equivalent in HR, Business, or a related field (preferred)Minimum 5+ years' experience in payroll and/or HR administrationStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracyExperience with payroll/HR systems (ADP, Workday, or similar preferred)Intermediate to advanced Excel skillsStrong organisational and time management skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionStrong communication and problem-solving skillsComfortable working both independently and as part of a team
