We are now offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Traralgon Aged Care.
About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse at Traralgon Aged Care, you will play a vital role in delivering high quality clinical care to our residents in the heart of Traralgon.
You will work as part of a collaborative and supportive nursing team, leading Personal Care Workers on the floor, administering medications, completing clinical assessments and documentation, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all residents in your care.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about aged care, values flexibility, and wants to work in an environment where residents truly feel at home.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high quality,
person centred clinical care to residentsAdminister medications and monitor resident health and wellbeingConduct resident assessments, care planning and clinical documentationSupervise and mentor Personal Care Workers on the floorRespond to clinical care needs and emergency situations promptlyLiaise with residents, families, medical practitioners and the broader care teamEnsure all care is delivered in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policiesContribute to a safe, welcoming and homelike environment for residents
About You:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Required)Previous experience working in aged care (highly regarded)Strong clinical assessment and problem solving skillsCompassionate, resident-focused approach to careExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to lead and mentor Personal Care WorkersCalm and professional under pressureFlexible availability including weekends and public holidays (highly desirable)Australian working rights (Required)Current Police Check (Required)
Desirable Experience and Qualifications:
Experience with AN-ACC funding and clinical documentationUnderstanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation requirementsExperience with medication management and clinical governance
