We are seeking a proactive and detail‐driven Quality Inspector to join our Aftersales team.
Reporting to the Aftersales Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the technical quality of products and ensuring inspection standards are consistently applied across the CRC (Customer Repair Centre).
This role is well suited to someone with robust technical capability, a passion for quality, and the confidence to collaborate across local and global stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.Key responsibilitiesConduct product inspections in line with established quality criteria and inspection proceduresDevelop and improve inspection and test procedures for new and existing productsIdentify, document, and report product defects, non‐conformities, and deviations from quality standardsMonitor inspection trends and quality metrics to support quality improvement initiativesCompile, analyse, and assist with reporting of quality data and performance metricsTrain and upskill new and existing team members in inspection, testing,
and diagnostic proceduresSupport root cause analysis and contribute to corrective and preventative actionsCollaborate closely with Quality Engineering and other stakeholders locally and offshore (including Asia‐based teams)Maintain accurate and complete inspection records and documentationParticipate in calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipmentEnsure compliance with occupational health and safety (OH&S;) standards and promote safe working practicesSkills and experienceMinimum 2 years' experience in quality inspection, quality control, or a related engineering environmentStrong attention to detail and the ability to consistently identify issues and non‐conformancesProven analytical skills with the ability to interpret inspection data and identify trendsSound understanding of quality control methodologies and tools (e.g. ISO standards, Six Sigma)Experience preparing inspection reports, quality metrics, and non‐conformance documentationStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across multiple stakeholdersFamiliarity with mechanical systems and components such as motors, gears, and bearings (desirable)Understanding of power tools or similar consumer products (highly regarded)Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast‐paced environmentA proactive mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvementBe part of a globally recognised, values‐driven organisationWork in a technically engaging, hands‐on quality roleOngoing training and development opportunitiesCollaborative team environment with exposure to international stakeholdersOpportunity to make a real impact on product quality and customer outcomes
