The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:Diagnose and detect mechanical faults in cars manually or by the use of computer diagnostic programsExamine vehicle parts to ensure that they are working perfectlyFollow Checklists to ensure all critical parts are examinedMaintain and repair vehicles for customersAir-conditioning & basic Auto electrical repairsAssist customers in carrying out routine maintenance on vehicles such as changing oil, lubricating frictional car parts,



tightening bolts and nuts and tyre change and rotationFollowing environmental sustainable work practicesHelp customers in buying quality car parts for replacementReplace damaged or worn-out car partsKeep leading mechanic inquiries and render advice on vehicle maintenanceEnsure the safety of vehicles brought in for repairDaily workshop housekeeping & safety reportingTest drive each vehicle after repairQualifications and SkillsCertificate III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalentIdeally have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Trade qualified Automotive TechnicianProblem-solving skillsAptitude for technical activitiesAbility to work in a team environmentSalary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience Full time Positions available Applications open on 15th July **** and closes on 15th August ****
