We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Production Workers to join the team at Cottage Cheese Farm in Broadmeadows, VIC.
This is a full-time position that offers an excellent prospect to be part of a dynamic manufacturing and processing operation within the Cheese Manufacturing.
As a Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in our assembly and process work, contributing directly to the quality and efficiency of our cheese production.
This role requires hands-on involvement in various stages of production, from preparation through to packaging, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and food safety.
Key responsibilities
Operate and monitor production equipment and machinery in accordance with operational procedures and safety guidelines
Assist in the preparation and processing of raw materials, including milk pasteurisation and curd formation
Monitor product quality throughout the production process and report any issues or deviations to supervisory staff
Perform assembly and packaging tasks, ensuring products are correctly labelled and packaged to specification
Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, adhering to food safety and health and safety regulations
Conduct routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance as directed
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Follow all company policies, procedures and food safety protocols at all times
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management immediately
What we're looking for
Previous experience in manufacturing, food processing, or assembly work is highly desirable
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced,



physically demanding environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks, stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to strict food safety and hygiene protocols
Valid Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain one
Basic understanding of health and safety requirements in a food production environment
