GARMENT TECHNICIAN / PRODUCT DEVELOPER - FULL TIME POSITIONSTAGE II is a dynamic clothing company, based in South Geelong with offices situated throughout Australasia.The ongoing growth of STAGE II PTY LTD has created an exciting opportunity for a product developer in our youth ladies wear team.We are seeking a passionate experienced and Full Time Product Developer / Garment technician.With a solid wholesale sector across all our brands, and a rapidly growing retail presence, STAGE II are responsible for, and proud of, our well-known, market leading brands including: All About Eve, Silent Theory, St Goliath, Elm, Eve Girl, St. Goliath Boys, and Eve Girl to name a few.JOB SUMMARY / AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:Working in partnership with Product Team and suppliers, your technical skills will contribute and bring life to the garment lifecycle:Being responsible for the fit, workmanship and QC issues that arise at the proto and PP samples stages to meet and maintain our high-quality standards.Liaise with offshore offices,



suppliers and Production team on any potential delays.Exceptional eye for technical detail to consistently ensure standards are being met and with the correct documentation is used and followed.Working closely with Design in developing brand specific garmentsIF YOU THRIVE IN A FAST PACED ENVIRONMENT, HAVE EXPERIENCE AND A GREAT WORKING KNOWLEDGE IN:Background in pattern making with specific in-depth knowledge of garment construction, fabrications, fit, shape, trims etc.Qualifications in Fashion Design or related fieldA thirst for high-pressure situations with an ability to prioritise conflicting demands and adapt to meet regularly changing needs.Can work closely within a team as well as the ability to act autonomously.Foster and manage positive working relationships across departments.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)Comprehensive Adobe Suite Knowledge, proficient in Illustrator.Intermediate Excel experience.WHY JOIN?
