Blooming People Australia – Campbellfield VICAccounts Payable Officer – Mandarin Speaking.Bring your MYOB expertise to a role where your Mandarin skills are genuinely valuedBlooming People is partnering with a long-established Australian textile manufacturer to appoint an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to its Campbellfield finance team.Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with the Chief Financial Officer, you will take ownership of high-volume accounts payable while communicating regularly in Mandarin and English with suppliers throughout China.This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and dependable accounts professional who enjoys solving discrepancies, building strong supplier relationships and contributing beyond routine invoice entry.What you'll be responsible forProcess high volumes of supplier invoices in MYOB, ensuring accurate coding, GST treatment, approvals and supporting documentationMatch purchase orders, invoices and delivery dockets, following up missing or inconsistent informationPrepare payment runs, issue remittance advices and respond to supplier payment enquiriesReconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies, duplicate invoices, credits and aged itemsCommunicate in Mandarin and English with international suppliers regarding invoices, payments and account enquiriesSupport bank and General Ledger reconciliations, creditor reporting, accruals, prepayments and month-end activitiesMaintain accurate supplier records, including authorised bank details, payment terms and credit documentationWork closely with Procurement,



Production and Warehousing to obtain approvals and resolve invoice or delivery issuesAssist with ERP reporting, data reconciliation, finance automation and process improvementsWhat you'll bringTo be considered, you will need:Qualified fluency in both Mandarin and EnglishAt least two years' experience in accounts payable or a broad Accounts Officer positionStrong hands‐on experience using MYOBDemonstrated experience processing high volumes of supplier invoicesExperience preparing payment runs and completing supplier statement reconciliationsAn understanding of GST coding, purchase orders, invoice matching and payment controlsStrong Excel, reconciliation and problem‐solving skillsExceptional accuracy and the ability to manage competing deadlinesA professional and confident approach when dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholdersExperience in manufacturing and exposure to ERP systems such as AREL Atoms will be highly regarded.
An accounting, bookkeeping or business qualification is desirable but not essential where you can demonstrate relevant experience.Why consider this opportunity?
