Dedicated to staying ahead of the trends, we actively research into consumer insights, new product concepts, facilitate innovation for our customers whilst still reflecting our core pillars of family and food.Quality Assurance Officerx1 Permanent Position (Day Shift - 6am - 2.30pm)Normal day in the role of the Quality Assurance Officer includes:Performing tests and making decisions for a wide range of manufactured final products to verify conformity to specificationsSetting up and operating laboratory equipment and instrumentsPerforming and recording all laboratory Quality Control testsInspecting and testing processed and/or packed products to ensure complianceAssisting in any planned production and development trialsCarrying out both standard and aseptic sampling when requiredCarrying out quality requirements on processed products in compliance with WQA/SQF/Coles/Aldi and HACCP standardsMonitoring the day-to-day hygiene and quality of the manufacturing plantCarrying out periodic internal audits of processes and systemsMaintaining effective working relationships with warehousing, logistics,



operators and plant managementMaintaining laboratory equipment and consumables dataSelecting products for tests at specified stages in production processPlanning and performing storage stability tests on products to measure product performance during storage and changes in product characteristicsPerforming environmental sample analysis as per guidelinesSound like something that you would love to be a part of?

To be in the running for this role, you should have:A tertiary qualification in Food Science/Technology or ScienceFood industry experienceDemonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environment with good working knowledge in food safety and/or qualityThe ability to problem solve quality issues and provide suggestions for improvementsInitiative!
You are autonomous and a self-starter!
Solid proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAn open, curious and optimistic outlook; you're a problem solverA genuine passion for making a difference to help improve the way our customers workExcitement to learn and be exposed to different capabilities and experiences within the businessA passion for culture!
