We are proud of our ever-expanding portfolio of projects covering bulk liquid storage and distribution infrastructure, bridge engineering and construction, infrastructure remediation, technical EPCM services and industrial electrical/process automation solutions.Saunders International is seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsperson to join our Design & Drafting team at our head office in Rhodes, Sydney.About the RoleAs a key member of our multidisciplinary engineering team, you'll support the design and delivery of mechanical projects within the fuel, chemical, water, mining and Defence sectors.
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex projects while developing your technical skills in a collaborative environment.
Work involves construction of current and maintenance of existing tanks and associated mechanical and structural infrastructure.You'll be responsible for preparing accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings and models, working closely with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure deliverables meet project specifications and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare 3D models, detailed engineering and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD/Plant3D/InventorDevelop Bills of Materials (BOM)
