Strathfieldsaye Sheet Metal Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker to join our team on a full-time basis.
This is a hands-on position based in East Bendigo, VIC ****, where you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and construction of sheet metal components and structures.
This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for quality workmanship and delivering exceptional results to our clients.
You will be working with cutting-edge equipment and traditional fabrication techniques to produce precision sheet metal products that meet exacting standards.Key responsibilitiesOperate sheet metal machinery including guillotines, brake press's, rollers, laser's and welding equipment to cut, bend, and form sheet metal according to specificationsRead and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate fabrication of componentsMeasure and mark materials with precision to achieve required dimensions and tolerancesWeld sheet metal components using various welding techniques, ensuring strong and aesthetic joinsAssemble fabricated parts and components into finished products, utilising fixings and fasteners as requiredInspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications before deliveryMaintain a clean, protected, and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocolsPerform routine maintenance and care of fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performanceCollaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and quality targetsWhat we're looking forTrade qualification or substantial practical experience as a sheet metal worker, fabricator,
