ARA Electrical Engineering Services - Cardiff NSW
Kenshaw Electricalan ARA Group company, requires anexperienced Fitter / Machinist to join our team, working in our Workshop Division based in Cardiff (NSW).
The main functionof this role is toperform fitting and machining tasks working on electrical motors and equipment that is used in the mining and industrial space.
Kenshaw has been established for over 30 years and prides itself on a strong team culture whilst providing excellent service for its customers.
The workshop division is in a strong growth phase and this role would be an integral part of this growth.
There will be a requirement to sometimes do overtime, work on weekends and on-call.
The applicant should have the following:
Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
Must be able to identify and rectify faulty and worn components
Read, understand and interpret technical drawings
Quality Assurance - dimensional checking, reporting and customer requirements
Undertake and complete work to Australian, Industry and Company standards
Have a high attention to detail
Working alone with minimal supervision
Flange management and machining experience
Strong commitment to WHS polices and procedures
Commitment to compliance,



including health and safety measures of both the Company and customers, including undertaking additional training when required.
Valid driving licence (manual vehicle)
White Card
Working at Heights and Confined Space Certificates.
Welding experience
Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
Produce high quality drawings or CAD experience
Capable of working autonomously and/orin a team environment
Required Skills
This role would suit a self-motivated Fitter / Machinist who has worked on motors and the like.
The incumbent will be capable ofworking withminimal supervision, have a high attention to detail and provide excellent workmanship.
A high level of customer service skills is requiredfor this exciting opportunity.
