We are seeking a Client Relations Officers to join our team in Armidale and make a meaningful contribution to the community.
As a Client Relations Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting tenants and applicants, helping them access and sustain secure housing.
This is a people‐focused role that combines professional tenancy management with empathy, problem‐solving, and strong stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement: Act as the first point of contact for applicants and tenants, providing informed advice, support, and guidance.
Tenancy Management: Manage a portfolio of tenancies, including allocations, sign‐ups, inspections, and ongoing tenancy support.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with advocates, support services, and partner organisations to help clients sustain long‐term housing outcomes.
Community Impact: Support low‐to‐moderate income earners across the New England North West region to achieve housing stability.
About You
Relevant Qualifications or Experience: Certificate III in Social Housing (or willingness to obtain), or experience in welfare, property management,
community services, or a customer‐focused role.
Strong Communication Skills: The ability to manage sensitive or complex conversations while maintaining professional boundaries.
Mandatory Requirements: A current Driver's Licence, a clear Criminal History Check, and willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check.
Community Commitment: A genuine interest in contributing positively to the Armidale community.
