We are currently looking for talented team member to join our Monitoring Team.This is an office‐based operational support and safety role based in Epping VIC, and does not involve driving vehicles.
The role supports the safe, compliant and efficient operation of our local and interstate fleet through a combination of reporting, compliance management, branch support and driver welfare activities.Key responsibilities include:Running and analysing daily and shift‐based reports (day, afternoon and night shifts)Providing operational and after‐hours support to branches, including issue resolution and escalationDeploying, monitoring, troubleshooting and supporting telematics and safety technology systemsManaging incident response, follow‐up actions and compliance documentationMonitoring and responding to delays, exceptions and operational issues on the roadSupporting driver fatigue management, including welfare checks and follow‐up actionsThe ideal candidate will:Have a passion for safety and complianceBe familiar with the concepts of Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and Chain of Responsibility (CoR)Have an eye for detail coupled with writing and reporting skillsAbility to work well under pressureBe self-driven and able to manage your own scheduleExceptional time management skills and flexibilityHave an understanding of basic Microsoft Office programsWhat we provide:Training in monitoring technology and Mainfreight IT systemsA supportive learning and continuous improvement environmentBased at our purpose built Epping branch - complete with a chef-operated kitchen and onsite gym.A culture of promoting from within gives you chance to excel and progress through our business both locally and internationally.The Monitoring Team works across 3 x shifts a day to ensure 24-hour coverage of our fleet.
We operate a roster Monday to Friday, with shifts rotating monthly.
7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am.
As we are a 24-hour operating team, there will be times you are required to complete additional tasks outside of your key responsibilities.Weekend work will be required.
Weekend work is on call and requires answering fatigue calls and checking for urgent email requests.
