This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects ranging from custom cabinetry to bespoke joinery installations.
As a Cabinet Maker, you will play a vital role in bringing design concepts to life, working with precision and attention to detail to create exceptional pieces that exceed client expectations.
This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for quality craftsmanship and delivering projects on time and to specification.Key responsibilitiesInterpret technical drawings and specifications to plan and execute cabinet making projectsOperate and maintain woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and effectivelyCut, shape, assemble and finish timber and composite materials to precise measurementsConstruct cabinet frames, doors, drawers and other components using appropriate joinery techniquesFit and install hardware such as hinges, handles,



locks and drawer slidesConduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure standards are metCollaborate with the design and installation teams to resolve technical issues and ensure client satisfactionMaintain a safe and organised workshop workplace, adhering to health and safety protocolsWhat we're looking forA recognised qualification in Cabinet Making or equivalent woodworking trade qualificationMinimum 3 years' professional experience in cabinet making or bespoke joineryProficiency with woodworking machinery including saws, routers, sanders and joinersKnowledge of traditional and contemporary joinery techniquesAbility to interpret technical drawings and specifications accuratelyExcellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanshipPhysical capability to lift, carry and manoeuvre materials and completed pieces safelyStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a teamExcellent time management and ability to meet project deadlinesCurrent White Card (General Construction Induction) or willingness to obtain oneOwn ToolsDrivers LicenceWhat we offerCIF JOINERY / UNIVERSAL TIMBERS values our team members and offers a competitive salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications.
