Hielscher Electrical is a locally owned and operated Cairns business specialising in solar and battery installations across the Cairns region.
We're growing and are looking for an experienced electrician to join our team.
Whether you're already working in solar or looking for a change from traditional electrical work, we'd love to hear from you.

You will be supported by our dedicated and experienced team, both in the office and on-site. We have a strong focus on working together, so we can deliver a quality installation and a great experience for our customers.
What You'll Be Doing
Solar and battery installations
Switchboard upgrades
Testing, commissioning and fault finding
Supervising and mentoring apprentices
Completing compliance documentation and STC paperwork
Providing excellent customer service on site




Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
Working in accordance with Australian Standards and industry requirements
What We're Looking For
Current QLD Electrical Licence
Current Driver Licence
SAA Accreditation
Current CPR/LVR
White Card
Working at Heights (or willingness to obtain)
Good understanding of Australian Standards and Ergon Energy requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience in domestic and/or commercial electrical work
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Reliable, motivated and able to work independently and within a team
