About the Role
Whitsunday Anglican School is seeking an Economics Teacher with the capacity to teach Business Studies to join our Secondary teaching team.

Primary Responsibilities
Plan and deliver highly engaging lessons in collaboration with members of the teaching team
Developing a culture of high expectations for all students
Providing feedback to students and parents via the Continuous Reporting system
Developing strong relationships with colleagues, students and parent
Using data to analyse the progress of students and to review teaching and learning strategies.
Candidate Profile
Relevant tertiary qualifications, with the ability to teach Business and Accounting.




Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
Demonstrated high level organisational, networking and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated use of initiative, with the ability to anticipate the needs of a School organisation
A team player with robust interpersonal skills, who has the ability to engage and inspire
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Enthusiastic commitment to participating in the School's pastoral and cocurricular programmes
