The Role: Yard OperativeWe see your role as one of the most critical roles for our business.
You will be responsible for the productivity of the yard on a day-to-day basis and ensuring the operational and hands-on tasks are performed in a successful manner.Safety for our people is paramount: we live by our 'Safety First, Always!' value-driven culture.

We believe in "One Team, One Way, One LYNDONS."This position will be based at our Townsville branch.Responsibilities include:Helping with deliveries – loading and unloading trucksKeeping the yard clean, safe, and organisedOrganise and store materials in the yard safely and neatlyPick and prepare orders for dispatch to customersWork closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth workflowWorkplace Health and SafetyTake responsibilities on behalf of the organisation, but must also comply with requirements as workers,



including:Ensure adherence to WHS policies and proceduresMaintain relevant knowledge of WHS issuesAct as a role model by demonstrating secure work behavioursTo be considered for this role you will need:Essential skills/experienceCurrent Forklift license (QLD)Willing to learn and get stuck into hands-on workReliable and shows up on timeA good team player with a positive attitudeReady to grow and build a long-term careerDesired skills/experienceSimilar industry experienceWhy Join Lyndons?
