ABS Trailquip is seeking an experienced Draftsperson / CAD Designer to support our engineering and production teams.We manufacture high-quality heavy transport equipment, including dollies, trailers and custom-built transport solutions.
This position will work closely with management, engineering, suppliers and workshop personnel to develop accurate designs and manufacturing documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed 3D models and assemblies using Autodesk InventorProduce accurate manufacturing and fabrication drawingsCreate detailed drawings for trailers, dollies, components and assembliesGenerate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)Update and revise existing drawings and designsMaintain drawing records, registers and revision controlSource and order components and materials from suppliers as requiredLiaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability and technical informationWork with workshop personnel to resolve design and manufacturing issuesEnsure drawings meet company standards, customer specifications and applicable Australian Design RulesAssist with design changes,
