inclusive and supportive workplaceWork alongside experienced educators and industry specialistsThe opportunity to make a lasting impact on the future of the tradeFixed-term full time opportunity with the potential for extensionAbout the RoleEvery day you'll help apprentices build the practical skills, knowledge and confidence they'll carry throughout their careers.You'll be responsible for:Delivering engaging practical and classroom-based trainingAssessing student competency and providing constructive feedbackSupporting apprentices and students throughout their learning journeyMaintaining strong industry relevance within training programsHelping students develop the skills, confidence and professionalism needed for successful careersYou'll be supported by an experienced education team, with teaching resources, mentoring and professional development available to help you transition into the role if you're new to teaching.About YouThis role would suit someone who takes pride in their trade, enjoys sharing their knowledge and wants to help shape the next generation of technicians.Ideally, you'll have:Current industry experience in Air Conditioning & RefrigerationCertificate III and IV in Air Conditioning & RefrigerationFull Refrigeration & Air Conditioning LicenceCertificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE***** or equivalent), or a willingness to obtain itStrong communication skills and the ability to mentor and inspire othersA genuine passion for developing the future workforcePrevious teaching experience is welcomed but certainly not essential.
If you've supervised apprentices, trained junior technicians or enjoy passing on your knowledge, you'll already have many of the skills needed to succeed.Please note: Appointment will be subject to the successful completion of Working with Children and National Police checks.
