This hands-on role is ideal for someone experienced with heavy machinery and keen to contribute to essential waste operations that support the local environment.
Some of the responsibilities are as below.Operate machinery such as dozers, compactors, excavators, and moxysPerform tip face operations including waste placement and compactionResponsible for following plans and EPA guidelinesCarry out daily cover operations, including the mixing and application of cover materialsConduct basic site maintenance and assist with light manual handling tasks when requiredAbout YouA valid plant operator ticket or equivalent competency of at least two-three of the above (VOC, RII, etc.)Proven experience operating dozers, compactors, excavators, and moxy trucksGood understanding of safety and environmental compliance in a landfill or earthworks settingAbility to work well in a team and follow operational plansPrevious experience in landfill operations or waste industry will be advantageousHR Licence will be beneficialAbout UsJoin us at Cleanaway and contribute to making a sustainable future possible, together.We transform waste into resources and renewable energy.
