We are looking for candidates who possess strong attention to detail, empathy, and a dedication to achieving positive results for our clients.Key factsLocation: Brisbane CBD, BrisbaneEngagement: PermanentTeam: Not specifiedWhat you'll doOversee the entire lifecycle of motor claims, from the initial report to final resolution, ensuring adherence to Gallagher Bassett's policies and procedures throughout the process.Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and service providers to collect essential information that facilitates efficient claims processing.Analyze claims data to assess validity and determine appropriate resolutions, ensuring compliance with insurance regulations.Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve overall claims management efficiency.Maintain accurate records of all claims activities and communications in the claims management system.Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to keep them informed about the status of their claims and any necessary next steps.Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.RequirementsAt least 2 years of experience in motor claims management or a similar field, demonstrating a solid understanding of the claims process.Comprehensive knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and practices relevant to motor claims.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and external partners.Proven ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously while meeting deadlines.A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions regarding claims outcomes.Nice to haveFamiliarity with claims management software and tools that enhance workflow efficiency.Relevant educational qualifications in insurance, risk management, or a related field that provide a solid foundation for the role.Previous experience in customer service or a related industry that highlights your ability to handle client interactions effectively.Skills & toolsProficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, to manage data and generate reports.Experience with claims management systems, enabling efficient tracking and processing of claims.Strong analytical abilities to evaluate claims and identify trends or discrepancies that require attention.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the insurance industry.Practical notesCandidates must possess the legal right to work in Australia to be considered for this position.The role offers a competitive salary package, along with opportunities for professional growth and development within Gallagher Bassett.At Gallagher Bassett, we believe in fostering a supportive and inclusive work setting where employees can thrive.
