As a proudly recognised Employer of Choice for 10 consecutive years and recipient of the Global Healthy Workplaces Award ****, we continue to invest in our people, our facilities and the communities we serve.We are seeking an experienced and versatile Maintenance Officer to join our Building Services team and support the safe, compliant and efficient operation of our healthcare facilities.About the RoleAs a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of planned, preventative and reactive maintenance services across one or more TLC facilities.This hands-on role plays an important part in maintaining a protected, comfortable and high-quality environment for residents, visitors and employees.
You will work closely with site leaders, contractors and the wider Building Services team to ensure our facilities remain operational, compliant and presented to the highest standard.As part of a regional maintenance team, flexibility to travel between sites and attend occasional after-hours works is required.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine, preventative and reactive maintenance across building assets and infrastructureCarry out general repairs including carpentry, patching, painting and basic plumbing worksSupport refurbishment projects,



facility upgrades and minor renovationsMonitor and maintain key building services, including:Heating and cooling systemsFire protection systemsHydraulic and plumbing servicesCommercial kitchen equipmentPool facilitiesConduct regular inspections to identify hazards, defects and maintenance requirementsCoordinate and supervise external contractors to ensure works are completed safely and effectivelyMaintain accurate maintenance records using work order and asset management systemsManage inventories of tools, spare parts and consumablesAssist with furniture relocations and general facilities support tasksEnsure facilities remain safe, compliant and defect-free for residents, staff and visitorsAbout YouYou are a practical, solutions-focused maintenance professional with strong technical knowledge and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
You take pride in your workmanship, can work independently and are comfortable managing multiple priorities across different sites.Key attributes and Compliance RequirementsTrade qualification (preferably Plumbing or Electrical)Experience in building maintenance within aged care, healthcare,
