About the role...
The primary role of the National Field Sales Manager is to effectively represent Caruso's Natural Health in leading the Territory Managers, maximise sales to meet target, merchandising, training and education.
Reporting to the Sales Director you will play an integral role in growing our business and taking it to the next level in the Pharmacy channel.
You will ensure the field sales team are passionate about providing responsive customer solutions in an ethical manner and are motivated and trained in the areas of Wellness, with exceptional product knowledge.
What you'll do....
Develop and execute national field sales strategies to increase market share, sales growth and customer engagement
Through training and coaching, you will ensure the Territory Managers are working effectively, maximising sales potential and achieving sales targets through territory management




To ensure each Territory Manager is providing effective territory coverage of major accounts and key players to maximise business opportunities and growth
Ensure that sales initiatives and opportunities are sustainable and protect Caruso's profitable growth
Leverage relationships in key accounts to grow market share in Pharmacy channel working closely with key pharmacy groups, including Chemist Warehouse, Sigma, Priceline, TerryWhite Chemmart and independent pharmacy networks
Deliver a high level of education and training to retail partners and assist them in promoting and recommending Caruso's brand in store
To identify all key players within the region for partnership and growth
To spend approximately 50% of time in the field including travel
Identify training needs of each team member and implement training programs that support development and growth
Ensure adequate and complete territory records are maintained by each Territory Manager in our CRM
Assist in the preparation and effective running of National and Regional meetings, ensuring meeting objectives are implemented, understood and are achievable by the team.

To be successful in this role, you need to:
Experience in a similar role managing a field team.
Demonstrated success leading high‐performing field sales teams within the VMS, complementary medicines, pharmacy, OTC, FMCG healthcare or related channels together with a degree or qualification in a business‐related area.
