Headquartered in Sydney, Perpetual operates across Asset Management, Wealth Management and Corporate Trust, bringing together 11 leading brands with a shared purpose of creating positive, long‐term outcomes for communities.About the RoleThe First Nations Communities Trust Associate plays an important role in supporting Trust Managers to administer First Nations community trust arrangements with care, integrity and respect.
In this role the focus is on building strong, trusted relationships and ensuring trusts are managed in line with legislative requirements while delivering meaningful outcomes for Traditional Owner communities.You will work closely with internal teams, community representatives on country and external partners to support the effective day‐to‐day administration of trusts and contribute to Perpetual's ongoing commitment to working alongside First Nations communities.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong, respectful relationships with First Nations communities, partners and external stakeholders, helping to enhance Perpetual's reputation in the First Nations trust spaceSupport the administration of Native Title and community trusts in line with legislation, company policies and agreed governance frameworks, including payment processing, reporting and compliance activitiesAssist with the preparation for and participation in Trustee Advisory Council meetings, beneficiary meetings and community communicationsSupport Trust Managers in working with Executive Offices, Advisory Councils and Co‐Trustee arrangementsDevelop a strong understanding of the needs,
