Established in ****, Formic Advisory is a proudly boutique Werribee firm headed by two progressive partners, growing entirely by word of mouth.
We work with small businesses through to clients turning over $80m, covering all aspects of financial and business affairs including tax, banking, estate planning and more.

About the role
As our Business Services Manager,



you'll work closely with the partners across a diverse portfolio of small business and high-net-worth clients (no BD or partnership expectations).
preparing financial statements and tax returns across all entity types
managing compliance across Div 7A, 100A and trust distributions
attending to client portfolios end-to-end including BAS preparation
dealing with the ATO and client correspondence
assisting with SMSF, estate and succession planning
collaborating with and mentoring team members
working with partners on complex advisory matters.
This is initially a hands-on role that will grow and evolve as you become embedded in the firm, assuming further managerial responsibility over time.
What we're looking for
Full Australian working rights essential
Min. 6 years Australian public practice experience essential
Strong technical knowledge across small business and HNW work essential
Experience with Div 7A, 100A, trust distributions and tax planning
Strong oral and written communication skills
Superannuation compliance knowledge highly regarded but not essential
CA or CPA qualification regarded but not essential.
